Esta semana arranca una nueva etapa. Una Foto de Esta Semana Nro. 313 es la primer foto del 7mo año de este colectivo de fotos que ya es una rutina semanal para mi. Hay veces que es más tediosa que otras, pero una rutina que me gratifica enormemente. Especialmente por el contacto con miles de personas, muchas de ellas desconocidas para mi pero que cada tanto se materializan en una respuesta, en un mail, en un comentario, que resignifica una foto y le vuelven a dar sentido más allá del que yo busco volcar cada semana.
Una Foto de Esta Semana es una suerte de catársis, Críptica, obscura y encriptida de lo mejor y lo peor de mi. Muchas veces escondo críticas a mi mismo, a mi entorno y a las cosas que me suceden y otras veces son simplemente gritos que anhelan reclamar mi existencia y mi paso por este mundo. Una especie de "Cueva de las manos pintadas" donde hago mis reclamos para perdurar en el tiempo trascender y decir "Acá estoy. Acá estuve. Así veía el mundo yo."
Espero puedas seguir difrutándola y compartiéndola o que simplemente sea una leve paréntesis en tu rutina que te ayude a pensar en otra cosa.

This week starts a new stage. A Picture of This Week Nr. 313 is the first picture of the 7th year of this photo project which is now a weekly routine for me. Sometimes it is more tedious than others, but it certainly is a routine that gratifies me greatly. Especially due to the esporadic contact with thousands of people, many of them unknown to me but every so often reflected in a response to an email or in a commentary at the blog, that redefines a photo and give a new meaning beyond the one I whish to express each week.
A Picture of this Week is a kind of catharsis, Cryptic, dark, and encrypted of the best and worst of me. Often, some criticism to myself, my surroundings and things that happen to me during that specific week and sometimes they are simply sort of cries to claim my life and my journey through this world. A kind of "Hand Painted Cave" where I make my claim in order to transcend over time and say "Here I am. I've been here. Thi is the wai I saw the world."
I hope you can keep enjoying it and sharing it or let is just be a slight break in your weekly routine to help you think of anything different.
